Under New Ownership
On July 31st, 2026, Maggie Mayhem, Maggie Yeates and Ian Dill finalized their purchase of the Granada Theatre at 1311 Adams Avenue.
They are locals to La Grande and have a passion for film and entertainment.
The purchase was for the theatre only and not the Drive-In because the asking price for the Drive-in was extremely high.
“We loved the Drive-In, but there was no way we could have afforded to buy both and no bank would ever give out a large enough loan to make it happen…”
The trio is committed to making the movie-going experience more accessible (financially) and more inclusive overall. Since taking over ownership they have:
Reduced ticket prices
Reduced concession prices
Added more concession items
Added a special $5 movie option on special second-run films
